"Children learn and develop well in enabling environments with teaching and support from adults" DfE 2003. Children need to be able to take their learning wherever they feel inspired to learn and build upon their prior knowledge and understanding which means out in all weathers and may get messy!  Children are each given their own “peg and box” for their own belongings and creations they have made during the day- with their photo and name to help facilitate name recognition.  Children who still require nap times are also provided with a “nap sack” which contains their own sheet and blanket which they will use with a foldaway mattress during nap time.

Children will receive Breakfast, morning snack, Lunch (Hot food) and Teatime as well as drinks ( Milk, water, fruit juices)and these are all included in the daily fees, but there are some additional items that parents/carers provide.  These items are kept at my house so everyone is always ready to take their learning wherever they need to and also because of our great British climate... whatever the weather!
